ABOUT
Reese Britts is a Biracial, Black performer and goofball based in Minneapolis, MN. He was awarded the Spotlight Triple Threat Award in 2015, named Cherry and Spoons "One to Watch" in 2019, and was named the Ordway Center for Performing Arts new Resident Artist in 2021.
Since 2019, Reese has worked around the Twin Cities at numerous theaters such as Artistry, The Ordway, The Jungle Theater, The Guthrie, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Lyric Arts, and Theatre Latte Da.
Reese, a true Minnesotan, grew up in Andover, MN and graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 2019. After graduating with departmental honors he called Minneapolis home.
Reese has been very open about his activism surrounding EDI in the Twin Cities Theater Community. He has taken part of a handful of theater's EDI conversations, speaking directly with Artistic Directors and learning extensively from the leaders of this movement in the theatre community. Representation matters.
